All children are expected to attend school during termtime and, as such, the school monitors attendance. If you know your child will be absent, then school must be informed as soon as possible.

Time away from school during term time must be applied for via the school office. School will then review each application on a case by case basis. After this review it will either be authorised or not authorised. Any time taken during term time without authorisation will be registered as unauthorised absence.

All matters of unauthorised absence relating to a Leave of Absence will be referred to the Warwickshire Attendance Service (part of Warwickshire County Council).  It is important to note, Fixed Penalty Notices are issued to each parent of each absent child (for example 2 children and 2 parents, means each parent will receive 2 invoices in the amount of £120 each, totalling £240 for both children, this is reduced to £60 per child if paid within 21 days).
